In the early 1990s I was back home after leaving college while looking for a job. I put a long range TV antenna on my parents’ house and could get the TV station 90 miles away in Selma, Alabama (WAKA Channel 8). Jeopardy came on at noon in Selma, but 6PM where I lived. I had a great little laugh at my family’s expense when we all sat around to watch Jeopardy in the evenings. I would know all the responses, having seen the show a few hours earlier. I let them in on the trick after a couple days.
Thank you Alex Trebek. Sorry I never got to be on the show and meet you . I did try out when the Jeopardy Team came through town. I passed the written test but didn’t make the cut following the mock game.
